Logo Usage

Last Update: June 6, 2025 04:54 PM

Proper logo usage maintains the integrity and professionalism of the FSS websites. This guide outlines the approved logos, placement rules, and visual standards to ensure consistency across all sites.

Approved Logos:

  • Only use officially approved logo variations.
  • Each installation should use its official logo format.

Placement Guidelines:

  • Main Site Logo: Left corner of the website header.
  • Air Force Services Logo: Right corner of the website footer.
  • Activity Logos: Each activity page (e.g., Fitness, Bowling, Arts & Crafts) must include its specific logo, placed at the bottom of the content.

Sizing and Clear Space:

  • Logos must always be clear and legible.
  • Leave adequate clear space around the logo to avoid visual clutter.
  • Ensure installation names and “Force Support Squadron” text are scaled proportionally—never too small or overpowering. The overall balance must remain professional and easy to read.

Color and Background Usage:

  • Use logos only in approved colors.
  • Do not alter logo colors or create unapproved variations.
  • Always place logos on clean backgrounds with sufficient contrast—avoid complex or busy backgrounds.

Do Not:

  • Distort, stretch, or skew the logo.
  • Add visual effects (e.g., shadows, gradients, outlines).
  • Place logos inside unapproved shapes or frames that alter their original appearance.
